e|m|a|fructidor has designed a system for education and training for all ages, for a permanent training, in phase with technological developments and their economic consequences. e|m|a|fructidor, as an art school developing a practice and thinking founded on the arts, techniques and medias of sound and image, is recognized by the professional milieu. Its skills stand out from those that characterize current structures for training in information and communication, structures with which e|m|a| maintains complementary relationships.
In a completely original fashion, the curriculum is based on an approach that resolutely maintains three dimensions: Artistic—Technical-Scientific – Economic. The teachings in the d’e|m|a|fructidor covers the spectrum of Fine Arts and Digital Technologies in an open and exigent context, developing a curriculum which encourages students to acquire a range of skills and mobility by exploring an increased palette of tools for expression.
The trans-disciplinary environment of the e|m|a| allows for the training of multi-skilled and independent creators, capable of working in industry or research. Professional fields currently available to graduates: contemporary art (creation and mediation), design, digital media, cinema, sound, fashion, photography, video games, architecture, teaching, research, dance, theater and urban set design, culinary design, etc…
e|m|a|fructidor is part of the national and international network of art and university establishments and practices the newer European Credit Transfer System and qualifications (Certificate Master Doctorate), allowing students to obtain a Master’s level qualification and to continue their studies on an equivalent level.
