The Caribbean Arts Campus (CCA) is a regional school dedicated to higher education, research and multidisciplinary professionalization in the Arts. The structure was created December 1st, 2011 by the Martinique Region, and originated in the will to implement a reform of art education for Martinique in its Caribbean context. On a wider level the idea is to promote culture and art by participating in the promotion and professionalization of our artistic potential.
The school is currently comprised of 5 departments, the 4 most recent were created in 2012: Visual Arts (Ex Martinique Regional Institute for Visual Arts), Living Arts, Art Trades, Cinema and Research.

It awards higher national degrees in Visual Arts (DNAP, DNAT, DNSEP) giving students the possibility to benefit from a truly multidisciplinary training up to and including a Master level qualification.
The establishment equally wanted to encourage the training of trainers through a partnership between the department of Living Arts and the Center for training of Dance and Music Teachers (CEFEDEM) of Normandy. Thanks to this agreement, our Martiniquean students can pursue training for the obtention of a State Degree (DE) as music teacher. In line with this policy, from September 2013 the Cinema Department has offered the possibility to our students to prepare for a Professional qualification in “Techniques and Activities of Image and Sound (LPTAIS)” in partnership with the IUT Di Corsica.
Questions of network and distribution of scientific knowledge are thus an integral part of the strategy of development and structuring of the Caribbean Arts Campus.
The training in Art Trades has the goal of training a new generation of craftsman. The stakes are considerable because in this domain it is our role to produce professionals ready to intervene in any area of human activity, capable of providing made to measure responses, anchored in a reality specific to our region but one that also finds an echo beyond the island.
The degree for access to university studies (DAEU) set up in partnership with the UAG, allowing students without a baccalauréat to enhance the value of their artistic potential so as to pursue a curriculum in higher education of art.
